Latest NXT technology employs bending wave physics to achieve wide
bandwidth from flat panel speakers

NXT plc, a provider of unique sound solutions, best known for its flat panel loudspeaker
technology, announced the launch of its Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) technology at
a press event in Huntingdon this month.

BMR builds on NXT’s expertize in bending wave physics by using a unique balancing
technique, which allows flat panels to be used in wide bandwidth drive units.  The
panels, which can be either circular or rectangular, are mounted in a chassis much like
a conventional drive unit.  This similarity aids the manufacturing process, allowing BMR
drive units to be built using conventional loudspeaker techniques.

While BMR’s low frequency performance is equivalent to conventional drive units of the
same size, the high frequency range is extended with the wide directivity characteristic
of all NXT technologies.  Increasing the bandwidth in this way means that the number of
drivers required to cover a given frequency range can be reduced.  As the technology
is scalable, full range drivers are feasible, potentially eliminating any requirement for
low frequency-specific loudspeakers.

A typical 4.5” circular NXT Balanced Mode Radiator

BMR is suited to a broad range of applications, with the rectangular devices particularly
suitable for slim line aesthetic designs.  NXT Chief Technology Officer, Henry Azima,
commented, “
Ten years after the filing of the original Distributed Mode Loudspeaker
(DML) patents, our development teams continue to invent and evolve our existing
technologies.  The latest NXT technology is a result of our commitment to inventiveness
and underlines our expertise in the field of bending wave physics.

  About NXT

NXT’s commitment to inventiveness in sound and touch has enabled it to deliver new
technologies to its partners that can today be found in audio systems, TVs, PCs and
laptops, mobile phones, PA systems, cars, aircraft and in public buildings and facilities
around the world. With its unique portfolio of patented technologies and unparalleled
expertise in the field of bending wave physics, NXT can help its partners create,
develop and market innovative sound solutions that offer sustainable differentiation.

NXT is fully listed on the London Stock Exchange (symbol NTX) and has operations in
Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and the USA as well as a Technology Center in Huntingdon,
UK. Further information is available from www.nxtsound.com

  ALEXIS PARK, AP#2608

"YG Acoustics will be exhibiting at Alexis Park suite #2608.  The name on the suite will
say "
Computerized Loudspeaker Labs", which is the exclusive manufacturer of the
YG Acoustics brand.

In the main room of the suite, we will be premiering top-of-the-line model for audiophile
home use - the Anat Reference Professional.

It is a huge system weighing over 440 lbs per piece, with a height of roughly 5'6".
MSRP for this product, which is by far the best in the world, is $92,000 per pair.

In the second room of the suite, we will be presenting our brand new product line for
use by the recording industry - the Anat II.  Since this model contains many key
industry secrets, it is not available for purchase by the public.  It will be demonstrated
by invitation only, to the world's leading members of the music industry.

MSRP for this product is irrelevant, as it is sold only to industry members through an
accommodation arrangement, and not available at all for retail purchase.
