We are excited to announce that Dagogo will cover the Axpona, 2013 Chicago audio show.

Follow our coverage starting March 8th with daily show reports, live updates on Facebook and the Dagogo Forums, and full show coverage in the week to follow.

Axpona 2013 is the first audio show to happen in Chicago in 14 years. Steve A. Davis is going all out. Five floors at the Doubletree by Hilton O’Hare Airport will offer 90 rooms, 30 booths, with 100 plus brands and gear from over 400 manufacturers.  Add to those two 90-minute seminars, one that will feature Dagogo’s own Ed Momkus on the panel.

This should be an exciting show not only see, but to hear as well.  Steve Davis is aiming to make Axpona the “best sounding show ever put on.”  With large rooms and tall ceilings, two semi-trucks full of room treatment by ATS Acoustics, 200+ bass traps and a plethora of other treatments for exhibitors to use.  We expect to hear great things.

The Dagogo staff will do our best to cover every room and booth, but we are very excited to hear the new Xs 300 flagship amplifier from Pass Labs which will be on display with Sony, the Acoustic Zen room, George Warren turntable which was recently reviewed by Greg Petan, Legacy Audio, Atma-sphere Music System, Wells Audio Akasha amplifier that Doug Schroeder raved about, Atma-Sphere amplifiers, YG Acoustics, and of course the Strain-Gauge cartridge system from Soundsmith.  We are also excited to hear the offerings from Veloce, Audio Note, Wadia Digital and Onkyo USA, and many more.
