May 11 – 13, 2007
Grand Hyatt Hotel, New York, NY
As always there are some very exotic looking speakers at the show. Here are a few that caught my eye.
A few eyeballs from Cabasse:
Some funky horns from Loiminchay:
An even funkier horn from Dr. Tetsuo Kubo, the Kubotek “Haniwa” speakers:
I’m with the guy in the back, “What do you call these?” “Proclaim Audio DMT-100s”:
A whole family of Salagar 210’s self-powered speakers:
Omaha had a selection of SETs between $900 and $1500 that all sounded nice:
I’ve had two of Audio Space’s products in from their less expensive line. I liked both very much, but these bigger amps were quite good, especially the Ones with the 845 tubes:
DCS’ all-out assault on digital was sounding good:
Rogue used some serious tubes for good sound:
The Memory player was what everybody wanted to hear. I couldn’t make a judgment at the show:
Every room that used the Nagra players sounded great:
Show after show I like the TAD room:
