Audio News: Destination Audio Nika Horn launched

Poland (12/25/2018): Destination Audio, manufacturer of the $95,000, 105dB sensitive Vista Horn and a complete tube amplification system that debuted at the 2018 California Audio Show, is launching a 99dB efficiency, smaller horn speaker system dubbed, Nika.

At 25 inches wide, 25 inches deep and 50 inches tall, the Nika is 41% narrower, 20% less deep, 30% shorter, 53% lighter than the Vista and yet designed to pressurize the same volume and room size as the big brother at 215 square feet. The Nika costs less than a third of the flagship at $29,000 the pair.

For the first five (5) pairs, Destination Audio is offering its customer an introductory pricing of $24,000 the pair.

      Thank you for your readership and comment. Speaker size is of relevance in the context of room size. ‘Smaller is always better,’ ‘bigger is always better,’ these are generalizations that serve no practical purpose.
