The sonicTransporter i5 CDR (CD Ripper) is a CD Ripper with a Hard Drive to rip and store your audio CDs. It replaces your desktop, laptop, Mac mini, etc., and acts like a NAS to store your music and other files. It uses a web-based interface and does not require separate keyboard, mouse or monitor to operate.
Using an Intel® Core™ i5 processor, the i5 CDR is Roon and HQPlayer software preinstalled and exceeds Roon Labs hardware specifications, requiring only official user registration for free trial to begin. It also runs on Squeezebox Server, Plex Media Server and MinimServer (DLNA server). Roon multi-room streaming can connect up to 6 simultaneous zones. Attach a USB drive with music files and your music will be available to virtually any network player, such as a Sonore Rendu series player.
The sonicTransporter i5 CDR also works great with Sonos network speakers. Listen to your local music or iTunes music files on Sonos speakers at any time without ever turning on your home computer.
